MANILA, Philippines – The coronation of the Grand Winner for the X Factor Philippines is tonight, October 7, 2012 at Pagcor Grand Theater. Judge-mentors Charice, Gary V., Martin Nievera, and Pilita Corrales expressed their feeling of sadness that the show is coming now to an end.
It is a star- studded night and the first to perform was X Factor Philippines’ host, KC Concepcion, who was resplendent in a tight-fitting black get-up. Then Gabriel Maturan and Erik Santos performed. They complimented each other together perfectly. Gabriel has grown as a singer.
KZ Tandingan and Jed Madela sang Jordin Sparks’ “This is My Now“. They appeared on stage holding hands, and being sweet. Jovit Baldovino and Daddy’s Home wowed the audience with their awesome performance. Angeline Quinto entered the stage last but, she lit up the stage, nevertheless.
Pooh, Kedebon, Modesto, April Boy Regino, Osang, and K Brosas performed next, further stoking the fire of excitement on stage.
Yeng Constantino sang with Jeric Medina, KZ Tandingan, and Daddy’s Home too, before the Final 12 X Factor Philippines contestants performed “Ikaw Ang Star Ng Pasko.”
X Factor judges Charice, Gary V., Martin Nievera, and Pilita Corrales are now on stage to perform.
Charice shone on stage with her beautiful rendition of her international hit “Pyramid.” Although she was the youngest, she’s equally talented like the other co-X Factor judges.
“Mr. Pure Energy,” Gary Valenciano, performed “Hataw Na” with his usual dance moves that left fans screaming, and dancing as well.
Martin Nievera showed through his song, “This is the Moment” why he remained one of the icons of the Filipino music industry.
Pilita Corrales was outstanding in her rendition of “If I Never Sing Another Song” showing to one and all that she was still “Asia’s Queen of Songs.”
The Top 3 performs next with their mentors. Charice and KZ are singing “The Way You Looked Tonight.”
Gary Valenciano performs “Man in the Mirror” with Daddy’s Home.
Martin Nievera duets with Gabriel Maturan with the song “Go the Distance.”
Winner of X Factor Philippines are now about to be revealed.
The 3rd placer will receive P50,000 – Daddy’s Home
The 2nd placer will receive P100,00o – Gabriel Maturan
The Grand Winner and Grand champion of X Factor Philippines is KZ Tandingan. KZ will win P4 million worth of prizes and a recording contract.
