The theme for the X Factor Philippines Performance Night on September 1, 2012 would be OPM (Original Pilipino Music) Hits. This was disclosed by X Factor Philippines via Twitter.
Top 8 Contestants will outperform each other for a slot for the Top 7 contestants, who would advance to the next round.
For the groups mentored by Mr. Total Performer, Gary Valenciano, Daddy’s Home and Takeoff have strong possibilities of staying in the forefront.
Although, both groups have found themselves in the Bottom 2 (once for Daddy’s Home, twice for Takeoff,) their amazing singing voices and blending could make them pull it off with flying colors.
The voices of the dads in Daddy’s Home are simply angelic and are in sync with each other; there’s simply no reason not to love them.
For the “Over 25,” which is mentored by Asia’s Queen of Songs, Pilita Corrales, Joan Da is left alone, among the previous 3 contestants.
The boy’s group is mentored by superb singer, Martin Nievera, and no one in the group was eliminated yet. Kedebon Colim, Gabriel Maturan and Jeric Medina have successfully hurdled the first weeks of the grueling competition.
For the girl’s group, which is mentored by international singer, Charice, there are two girls left, Allen Sta. Maria and KZ Tandingan.
