The year comes to an end once again with this Christmas party.
Dear Jesus, we’re gathered here today to celebrate your birthday.
Lend us the Holy Spirit that we may not forget the true essence of this day – your
birthday.
Thank you for all the blessings you have showered us the whole year through.
We appreciate them so much, and try to give back too.
In case, we faltered, we ask for your forgiveness and love.
We’ll try a bit harder to spread this coming year your words of love.
May you bless the hands that prepared the food for this party.
Likewise, may the organizers and participants be able to share camaraderie.
Make us realize that with your presence, love and happiness can be achieved.
Bless also those who are not present here today, our family and friends.
May there be peace and love for them and for all people of the world.
