Mariah Carey was injured on the set of her video shoot, but is now recovering at home as revealed by various entertainment sites July 8, 2013. She has reportedly dislocated her shoulder.
It can be recalled that Mariah was with American Idol as judge last season. She was with Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban. There are still no definitive news of whether Mariah Carey would return to American Idol, and who the judges would be next season.

Mariah was with husband Nick Cannon, who was directing the shoot, when the accident happened. Mariah Carey was reported to be well and fine as of this moment.
