We offer this national prayer of peace and unity, for our country, the Philippines to You, Most Revered Father.
With thankful spirits, we appreciate the countless blessings You have bestowed on our country.
Despite the turmoil and suffering our country is undergoing, You, God have remained in our midst;
Providing us the faith and hope that these are necessary challenges to turn us into better citizens.
May our elected and appointed political leaders guide the Philippines to become a unified and peaceful country.
Grant them Solomon’s wisdom in deciding what is good for the majority of people.
Likewise, send Your Indomitable Spirit to all our workers in the various government services.
Permit Your Resilience and Empathy to remain in their hearts and minds as they render service without prejudice.
We pray for our educational and justice institutions, our health workers, and those doing the simplest of jobs that they may be blessed.
This national prayer also includes all citizens of the Philippines, whether naturalized or not.
Let a peaceful and united co-existence occur in our country where everyone is concerned about his neighbor’s well-being.
Philippines Citizen’s Prayer
As citizens, make us become aware that we can only have national peace and unity can only happen if we cooperate with one another.
We should begin the positive changes within ourselves.
Only then can we help build our country into a community where, love, peace and unity abound.
May we also be aware of our environment and the gift of Mother Nature that you have showered us with.
Inculcate in our minds that for the Earth to survive, we have to take care of it.
Mother Nature is Your Precious Gift to us that we must nurture and protect.
