Heavenly Father, it’s another New Year once again.
We have been able to live and love through the past year because of your Divine Guidance.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Although we’re not perfect, You were always there to cover for our imperfections.
You guided us all throughout the days to live each day successfully.
We thank you too for whatever failures we encountered because we know all these occurred for a reason that only You know.
Our human frailty could not understand these trials but we are sure that they were there for good reasons to make us stronger and better persons.
This incoming new year, we come to you on bent knees to implore your mercy and love.
Please bless us with your Infinite Wisdom, unconditional love, and all-abounding blessings so that we may be able to live, love, and spread your love as you have taught us.
Allow us to have a positive perspective of people around us, even our so-called enemies because to you everyone is Your precious child.
May you bless the hands that prepared this sumptuous meal for us.
May you bless all the organizers of this gathering and all the persons present, their friends and families who may be abroad or at home.
We beseech you to bless also the sick that they can seek refuge in you.
We include all people of the world in this prayer that peace and love may reign for the next years to come.
Happy New Year to you Lord and to everyone listening and reading this prayer.
