The movie “Zero Dark Thirty” has released its official trailer this December 17, 2012, and already global audiences are thrilled of what it could offer movie viewers. Is it a genuine recount of the true story? Not many would know for sure.
“Zero Dark Thirty” is a movie most people look forward to because it is about the story of America’s hunt for Osama bin Laden after the tragic 9/11 disaster. It culminated with Osama’s death at the hands of Team 6 of the Navy S.E.A.L.
Osama bin Laden is the leader of the al-Qaeda responsible for the bombing of the Twin Towers in New York, and the Pentagon, using passenger planes that killed scores of people.
Starring in “Zero Dark Thirty” are Chris Pratt, Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain and Kyle Chandler. It is directed by Kathryn Bigelow and written for theater by Mark Boal.
The film is scheduled for release December 19, 2012 nationwide, and worldwide release is on January 11, 2013.
“Zero Dark Thirty” won several awards; some of them are the following:
Top Film of 2012 from the African-American Film Critics Association
Best Picture from the Boston Online Film Critics Association
Best Picture from the Chicago Film Critics Association
Best Film from the National Board of Review
The film also won some awards for Best Actress, Best Director, Best Screenplay and many more. “Zero Dark Thirty” has also been nominated for Golden Globe, other 2012 awards.
“Zero Dark Thirty” is critically acclaimed and would surely be a blockbuster worldwide.
