Roland Abante Gets Eliminated on AGT But

Roland Abante was eliminated in the semifinal 4 round of America’s Got Talent (AGT). Many viewers were shocked. But his fans and supporters are still hoping that their idol will get a shot for the AGT Finals through the “wild card”.

Many people were surprised at the AGT results because of all the performances featured on YouTube, Roland Abante’s video was the most viewed with 2.7 million views. The second most viewed AGT video was a million views away.

In fact, Roland Abante, together with Chibi Unity were the favorites from the AGT Semifinal qualifiers poll.

Understandably, Roland Abante was unhappy about the result, and his manager, Joel Sebag, brought him to Hawaii for a respite.

Sebag explained that Abante decided to sing “I Will Always Love You” to show his versatility through an acoustic version of the song.

Sebag reiterated that it was a unique version. He was replying to some comments that the song was not apt. However, the AGT judges were impressed and gave Abante a standing ovation.

Nevertheless, the votes were not enough to put Roland Abante into the AGT Finale. His manager encouraged the millions of viewers to vote for Abante too.

The AGT Live Performances were all awesome and the judges and the audience surely had a tough time deciding on who to support.

Roland Abante comes from the Philippines and sang in karaoke’s in the past as a hobby. His videos became viral and he was tagged the “Michael Bolton” of the Philippines.

Some local shows noticed his powerful performances and he was featured and interviewed in some of them.

Being qualified for the AGT live performances is one step away from Abante’s most cherished dreams. For sure, he wanted to be in the finale to fulfill his grandest dream.

Will Roland Abante Get the Wild Card on AGT?
