Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald will compete for the X Factor UK Grand Finals tomorrow, Sunday, December 15, 2013. Luke Friend was eliminated on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
The 36 year-old prison guard and the 17- year old student would vie for the X Factor UK crown. While Sam Bailey has been leading the public vote in most episodes, Nicholas McDonald could easily snatch the lead from her with his equally powerful voice, unassuming and adorable ways.
Sam Bailey posted on her Twitter account a picture with the statement:
“This is a big thing for me, this could change my life.”
Nicholas McDonald would, apparently, say the same thing. On his Official Twitter account he exclaimed:

“Cannot believe I am in the last 2 people in the final of the X factor !!!!! Thank you all so much for voting !!!”
The grand prize for the X Factor winner is a recording contract of £1 million with Syco Music. Guest celebrities on X Factor UK 2013 week 10 are:
- One Direction with “Midnight Memories“
- Gary Barlow together with Elton John
- Katy Perry
Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald will sing two songs each and the contestant with the highest vote would win the crown on the X Factor UK 2013.
