Kedebon sang “Footloose” and judge mentor Martin Nievera called him a “natural performer.”
A.K.A. JAM rendered a spectacular performance with 6 individual beautiful voices coming together as one. The girls are all attractive and each of them has the confidence to be an X Factor finalist.
Modesto Taran sang ‘To Love Somebody,” and it was one of the most powerful renditions of the song. Judge mentor, Martin, has this to say:
“You know what I hate about you? You’re not in my team.”
For Allen Sta. Maria, Pilita said that she didn’t hear the high notes.
For Jeric Medina’s “Lips of an Angel,” judge Pilita said:
“You have the lips of an angel.”
Gary Valenciano also stated:
“Your voice is one of the most pleasing voices on X Factor…You captured the song. You did a beautiful job.”
Daddy’s Home sang “Superstition” and Martin has this to say:
“That was a flawless performance…really, really good.”
Gary V. also commented:
“I don’t have to say anything, kasi iyong mga tao nag re react na.”
Gabriel Maturan performed “Breakeven,” and Charice said that it was Gabriel’s weakest performance.
Joan Da sang an Alanis Moriset song, and Martin commented that she was showing something new every week.
Takeoff earned kudos from the judges, with everyone agreeing that they deserve to remain on X Factor Philippines. Last week the group was at the bottom 2, and was saved by audience’s votes, just by a narrow margin, from eliminated contestant Mark Mabasa.
KZ Tandingan sang a song by Linkin Park, and Charice, her mentor, said:
“Don’t cry, KZ, you did good tonight.”
KZ always brings something new to a song with her extraordinary talent and originality. She is one of the strongest contenders in the X Factor Philippines competition. She is also the favorite of most viewers based on independent online polls.
