MANILA, Philippines – The Voice of the Philippines is on again this Saturday and Friday at 9 pm and 8:15 pm, respectively.
Who would be added to the Team Lea, Team Apl.de.Ap, Team Sarah and Team Bamboo?
Among the coaches, Tony winner, Lea Salonga appears to have an edge because experience-wise and personality-wise, she seems to be more ‘open’ and unabashed about winning the contestant to her side.
Sarah Geronimo has the charm, as well, to convince contestants to choose her. Bamboo and Apl.de.Ap are straightforward about their method, which is understandable, because they are men.
Presently, Team Lea has Mitoy Yonting, Chien Berbana, Darryl Shy, Taw Muhammad, and Radha.

The powerful singer, Angelica Prado, who previously auditioned for X Factor Philippines but has not made it to the final 3 contestants of the X Factor, has made two chairs turn, that of Lea Salonga and Bamboo. She chose Team Bamboo. Rock star, Bamboo also turned for Paolo Oneza to include him in his team.
Only Lea Salonga turned her chair for Diday Garcellano from Quezon City.
Ramoncito Alfonso did not make the cut.
Tristhan Perfecto made it in the blind auditions with Team Apl.de.Ap with the song “It Will Rain.”
Nicole Parada made Coach Bamboo Manalac’s chair turn with her song “Inseparable.”
Lance Fabros sang “Chasing Cars” and snagged Apl.de.Ap’s interest to be in his team.
Kathreen Castro has made the chair of 3 coaches turn with her song “Rolling in the Deep”, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac. She chose Sarah Geronimo.
