MANILA, Philippines – Sarah Geronimo is nominated to the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards for Best SouthEast Asian Act.
Sarah is currently a coach of the reality singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines, where she joins three other multi-talented entertainers, Bamboo, Lea Salonga, and Apl.de.ap.
The other contenders in the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards for Best SouthEast Asian Act are:
My Tam – is the representative from Vietnam, and described as “the most perfect artist.”
Slot Machine – is a rock band from Thailand and one of the “country’s finest.”
Olivia Ong – is an English-Mandarin singer, who received the “Outstanding Regional Artist Award” in 2012.
Noah – is an alternative Pop Band from Indonesia known for winning the Favorite Indonesian Artist and Video of The Year in 2006.
Hafiz – is from Malaysia and is popular as a ballad singer, tagged as Malaysia’s golden boy of ballads.
Sarah Geronimo is considered the Pop Princess of Philippine entertainment and has a show of her own, “Sarah G Live.” Recently, she became one of Dr. Vicky Belo’s Beauty 101 .
