Phillip & Jessica tweeted after American Idol 2012 Finale Results last May 23. Phillip Phillips won the title – American Idol for season 11.
They both expressed their gratitude to their loyal fans, who were with them every step of the way.
Jessica Sanchez said that Phillip deserved to win because he worked hard for it, even with his health condition.
Phillip Phillips praised also Jessica, saying she was an amazing singer. He also said:
“I’m still not believing all of this….thank you everyone for the support and can’t wait to get my own music out there.”
Later, Phillip Phillips guested on Jay Leno and met Glenn Close, whom he called “amazing.”
