During the last days of audition, KZ Tandingan, 20, got a standing ovation from the X Factor Philippines and the audience during her performance of the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” followed by a song, which she mixed with Filipino rap.
KZ Tandingan stated that she wanted to prove that not only those who look like movie stars and those who belt songs could succeed.
The applause was deafening with the audience going crazy and asking for more, and she has proven that she could succeed.
Gary Valenciano stood up during the rap portion to jump in glee. Martin Nievera asked if he could be a front act during one of her concerts, because “A star is born,” he proudly proclaimed, and “She has everything, she can move, she has audience rapport, she has the voice…”
Charice, on the other hand, said he could be a guest, Pilita Corrales said she can be a back-up singer, and Gary V said he would be contented being the director.
