‘Journey’s Greatest Hits’ is still at Billboard 200 for the 255th Week, as of April 16, 2013, a feat that is outstanding by all standards.
For a band to maintain that record in the Music Entertainment industry is unparalleled and not easily duplicated by any rock band.
Journey has been legendary- and still is – since its inception in the 1970s with lead singer, Steve Perry. Steve Perry‘s amazing vocals had helped catapulted Journey to become the iconic band that it is today.

With its new Filipino lead singer, Arnel Pineda, the previously all American Band, is now a World Band, and enjoying its resurgence and continuing popularity all over the world.
The present members of Journey are lead guitarist, Neal Schon, bassist, Ross Valory, keyboard player-composer, Jonathan Cain, drummer-vocalist, Deen Castronovo, and lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda.
On Billboard 200, ‘Journey’s Greatest Hits’ peaked at No. 10, and is now at No. 144, surpassing Adele’s ‘Adele’- No. 145, and Justin Timberlake’s Future Sex/Love Sounds, which previously peaked at No. 1 , and is now at No. 146.
Neal Schon and Ross Valory, also, accepted an award for Journey from the Billboard Touring awards for 2011, for the bands sold-out concerts all over the globe, with its lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda.
A film about the iconic band, and its front man, Arnel Pineda, entitled, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey’ is currently showing in the US and Canada. It is a ‘must-see’ movie for Journey enthusiasts.

Journey received an award, as well, for the song ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ as the most downloaded song in the 20th century. Can you beat that? It is the first time in history that a song from the 1970’s continues to be enjoyed by the new generation. The song has a universal appeal that is difficult to ignore.
Journey will continue with its 2013 tour on May 16, 2013 and onwards in the UK, covering places the band has never toured before, such as, Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle and Cardiff. Journey’s calendar is full until September 2013, and new concerts are being added to their schedule; this would mean, no rest days in between concerts.
It would be grueling for the band members for sure. With Arnel Pineda’s showmanship and vibrancy, though, each show would surely be a concert to remember for a lifetime.
