Jessica Sanchez and her mom, Edita, were interviewed by Christina Grimmie for Channel 19, and Jessica’s mom revealed that Jessica started singing at 5.
Jessica Sanchez was the American Idol season 11’s runner-up to winner Phillip Phillips. She, however, had numerous international fans who proclaimed that her voice was one of the best – if not the best – that American Idol ever had.
The interview was done during the American Idol Season 11 Live tour, but the video was only posted by Channel19Network on October 11, 2012.
In the video, Edita disclosed that at the age of 5, Jessica could already hold notes of songs by Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson, and Celine Dion.
Presently, Jessica Sanchez and Jordin Sparks had performed at the City of Hope gala together with The Pointer Sisters, Miley Cyrus, and Britney Spears.
