Curtis Finch Jr. is Eliminated on American Idol 2013 Top 9 Results Show

Curtis Finch Jr. sang for a save during the American Idol 2013 results show because he was in the bottom in votes, as revealed during the Top 9 Results Show, March 14, 2013. The judges did not use their save though.

The Top 10 American Idol 2013 contestants performed songs by past idols yesterday. These were the songs.

Lazaro Arbos – “Breakaway” by Kelly Clarkson
Janelle Arthur – Gone” by Montgomery Gentry
Curtis Finch Jr. – “I Believe” by Fantasia
Candice Glover – I Who Have Nothing” by Ben E. King
Kree Harrison – Crying” by Roy Orbison
Amber Holcomb – “A Moment Like This”  by Kelly Clarkson
Paul Jolley – Amazed” by Lonestar
Angie Miller – I Surrender” by Celine Dion
Burnell  Taylor – Flying Without Wings” by Ruben Studdard
Devin Velez – Temporary Home” by Carrie Underwood

Except for minor recommendations, all of the AI contestants receive good words from the American Idol judges, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, and Keith Urban. Three of the contestants; Curtis Finch Jr. Angie Miller and Candice Glover, however, were able to break from the mold.

Phillip Phillips and Bon Jovi performed to the delight of their fans. The Idol contestants are all talented singers, but only one should be left standing there.

Kree Harrison, Candice Glover and Angie Miller were the Top 3 American Idol 2013 vote-getters.

There was also a showdown between Aubrey Cleland and Charlie Askew for a spot in the American Idol 2013 tour.

Randy Jackson gave Phillip Phillips his Quadruple Platinum for his coronation song “Home,” which continues to sell even today.

Curtis Finch Jr. sang for a save on American Idol 2013 and the judges did not opt to save him. So, if you want your Idol contestant to stay on, don’t forget to vote for them next week, after their performance for the Top 9.
