For KZ Tandingan
Martin
“Digos is very, very proud of you now…”
Pilita
“I like the change in your hair…”
“For me, Charice parang wrong choice ang song…”
Gary stated that KZ Tandingan was the only X Factor Philippines contestant who trended at Twitter, and who have already a great following at Facebook. He; however, observed that KZ’s performance was somewhat “pigil.” (controlled)
Charice in answer to Pilita’s comment, stated that she chose the song because she wanted to show KZ Tandingan’s soft side.
KZ, on her part, accepted the judges’ comments gracefully, and said that she will give her best in the next performance.
For Jeric Medina, who sang the immortal song “Unchained Melody,” the X Factor Philippines judges’ comments are:
Pilita
“Very, very nice. You sound like your mentor. It’s a very good song for you. You’re also very “guwapo.” (handsome)
Gary stated that he seemed not to be in his best element, which Martin also seconded, by saying that no matter what the situation is “The show must go on.”
Gary said afterwards:
“Ang sarap pakinggan ang boses mo.” (It’s wonderful to listen to your voice.)
Charice
“All put together, you are good.”
For Mark Mabasa
Martin
“That was beautiful…”
Gary stated that Mark had the packaging of an X Factor contestant.
“You changed the way I look at you now… “
Charice
“Kahit ikaw lang mag-isa sa stage, kaya mo…”
Pilita said that Mark was born to be a star.
“Good job…”
For the Lucky Girls group, Gary coined the first letters of their names to come up with A.K.A. JAM. When they sang, each of their individual voices was spectacular, and as a group they were outstanding. Their voices blended well, earning the first and only standing ovation of the night.
Martin
“Wow, we’ve made decisions on the show and this was this was the best decision we’ve ever made. That was unbelievable!”
The decision Martin was referring to was when the X Factor Philippines judges decided to put together as a group 6 of the solo girl contestants.
Charice
“That was really good. Congratulations.”
Gary
“Naging emotional na naman ako. Wala na akong masabi pa. (I became emotional again. I am speechless.)
Jerriane Templo
Jerriane sang “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” with the lights dimmed and the beautiful background music, and she was able to connect with the song. Her powerful voice echoed poignantly on the X Factor stage.
Martin
“Wow, that was beautiful!”
Pilita
“A wonderful choice from a very talented mentor (Charice.)
Gary
“Sa napakabatang edad ng mentor mo, tama ang pinili niyang song…we receive a hundred percent performance…”
Daddy’s Home, Joan Da, and the rest of the X Factor candidates were well applauded too, with the judges stating that the contestants leveled up in their performances.
For Kedebon Colim, Martin said he was like a wild stallion. Kedebon expressed his thanks to his fans and non-fans.
“Sa mga taong di nakikita ang kagalingan ko, maraming salamat din po…” (to those who are not able to see my talent, thank you too.)
