Jessica Sanchez,16, stated that she was influenced by various artists like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Etta James, Beyonce, and many more.
Joshua Ledet, 20, said his mother influenced his musical style.
Phillip Phillips, 21, revealed his brother-in-law, Ben Neil, influenced his style.
The Top 3 American Idol hopefuls will outperform each other on May 16 and only Top 2 contestants will proceed to the Grand Finale on May 23 at the Nokia Live Theatre.
