Google has just released its records of the most searched items in its 25 years of Google Search history on December 12, 2023, and BTS gained the crown of “The Most Searched Boy Band” in its 25 years of history.

BTS with members, Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook, have hugged the headlines of various news media outlets online and offline.

Hence, it is not surprising that they also ranked #1 in Google’s Search history. Several bands became popular before BTS such as The Beatles, Boyz II Men, One Direction, *NSYNC, The Jackson 5, 98 Degrees, New Kids on the Block, New Edition, Hanson, Westlife, 5 Seconds of Summer, and many more.

However, BTS outshone all of these popular boy bands – even with the likes of The Beatles.

This record-breaking achievement elevates BTS into living legends. Not that they are not living legends already for breaking world music records left and right, like V’s Layover album did: V Breaks Records with Layover Album.

Jungkook’s latest achievement also elevates the members into incredible superstars.

But this 25-year end Google Search achievement is a uncontested testament to their reach and popularity around the world.

The BTS members have all now enlisted in South Korea’s military (as of December 12, 2023), and the majority of the members will train for 18 months. But ARMY, BTS’ fandom, has vowed to wait for them until they come back in 2025.

The slogan APOBANGPO, (ARMY forever, BTS forever) has been doing the rounds on social media with the fans willing to wait for the members come back as a band in 2025.

The members have released their solo songs and albums and all of their tracks are doing well on music charts around the world. They featured diverse genres and preferences but they are still committed to the cause of spreading good cheer and positive messages in whatever they do, including their solo activities.
