The previous prediction that Kedebon and Modesto (based on existing norms) would be eliminated has not come true, and this is good news, because these two contestants have the X Factor indeed.

After the August 18 Performance Show, the bottom 2 prediction for X Factor Philippines Results Show this Sunday, August 19, would be Gabriel Maturan and Allen Jane Sta. Maria. This is based on the aspects mentioned above. Of course, this is only a prediction, so they may or may not come true.

Gabriel Maturan and Allen Jane Sta. Maria are excellent singers, who can make the song their own, through their own styles. Allen, at 16, shows raw talent, which could be cultivated more; likewise with Gabriel Maturan.

The judges, Charice, Pilita, Martin, and Gary lauded their performance but there were certain suggestions to improve their craft.
