MANILA, Philippines – as Typhoon Ompong rampages on land in the Northern part of the Philippines, September 15, 2018, Saturday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has announced more areas that are under Signal #2 at 12:30 am.

Signal # 2 was raised in the following areas due to Typhoon Ompong

• Pampanga
• Pangasinan
• Tarlac
• Zambales
• Nueva Ecija
• Polillo Islands
• Southern Aurora
• Bulacan
• Northern Quezon

Residents near coastal waters and those in low lying areas and areas where landslides may occur are advised to seek shelter in evacuation centers.
