American Idol 3rd placer, Joshua Ledet, tweeted: “Am I the only one who felt a shake? I’m so scared, lol.” when a 3.8 LA earthquake occurred on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
People rushed to Twitter to confirm if an earthquake did occur in LA, California, including the Marina Del Rey area . Many were awakened by the tremor, and were afraid to sleep again. Some took to the micro-blogging site to know how their friends were.
One Twitter user said, that the first thing he did after the tremor was to use Facebook and to Tweet about it.
