Jessica Sanchez in the Philippines from November 30 to December 10 to Help Filipinos with Hearing Problems through the Starkey Hearing Foundation

MANILA, PhilippinesAmerican Idol season 11 runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, is presently in the Philippines. She arrived last Saturday, November 30, and would travel to different parts of the country up to Tuesday, December 10.

The amazing singer is in the Philippines to help Filipinos with hearing problems, who lack financial resources, through the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

The itinerary of the Starkey Hearing Foundation with Jessica Sanchez would be at General Santos City, Lipa City, Batangas and Manila.

According to the foundation’s website:

“We use hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and improve the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world, by helping them reach their full potential.”

Jessica Sanchez has always been helpful to people in need, especially to her Filipino fans. Apparently, it is because Jessica is of Filipino descent; her mother hails from Bataan.

She also donated the proceeds of the sale of her new charity single, “Lead Me Home” for typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims.

She is well-loved by her Filipino fans in return, as evidenced by their support during her stint on American Idol, and her previous jam-packed concert in Manila.

From her official Twitter account, she tweeted how excited she was for her visit to the Philippines.

Jessica Sanchez has gained more honor for herself and the Philippines when she sang the Philippines’ National Anthem, flawlessly, during the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios fight.
