Gary Valenciano to Perform at Angeles University Foundation Pampanga on July 26

ANGELES CITY, Philippines – Popular actor-singer, Gary Valenciano, is scheduled to perform at the Sports and Cultural Center (SCC) in Angeles University Foundation (AUF), Angeles City, Pampanga on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 7 pm.

Entitled “Live at AUF“, the proceeds of the concert would benefit the indigent patients at AUFMC, the university’s base hospital.

It would be the first time that Gary V would perform at the premier Catholic university in Central Luzon. AUF is well-known in the region for its quality education and for its achievement as the center of excellence in many disciplines.

The university encourages the “Total development of man for God and humanity”, hence, its enhancement of the arts. On July 26, it is time for some night of fun and entertainment within the university premises.

Gary Valenciano, also tagged as Mr. Pure Energy, is an Awit Awardee for “Best Male Performer” and one of the icons of the Philippine entertainment industry. The Total Performer popularized songs namely:

Angeles University Foundation Student, Diomari Ivan Tayag, Wins 4 Golds and 1 Bronze in the Australian Handgun Championship in New Zealand

Angeles City, Philippines – An Angeles University  Foundation student, Diomari Ivan L. Tayag, has won 4 Gold Medals  and 1 Bronze in Rotorua, New Zealand during the Australian Handgun Championship last February 22 to March 4, 2013.

The 19 year-old, 3rd year Medical Technology student was also previously awarded the Most Outstanding Tomasian and Most Outstanding Kapampangan in 2012.

Production Junior Champion – 2 Gold Medals

Production Team Champion – 2 Gold Medals

Angeles University Foundation Med Tech Graduate Ranks Top 5 in Licensure Exams; AUF among Schools with 80% and Above Passing Percentage

Maria Janina A. Parker, a graduate of Angeles University Foundation (AUF), was ranked Top 5, with a rating of 90.40%, in the recently concluded Medical Technology Board Exams held last September 1 & 2, 2012. The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) September 5, three days after the licensure exams.

Angeles University Foundation has a 94.12% passing percentage for first timers (32 passed out of 34), and a 37.50% (3 passed out 8 ) passing rate for repeaters. The total passing percentage for both is 83.33%, making AUF one among the high performing schools with more than 80% passing rate.

Gizelle Capati Cano of Angeles University Foundation is one among the Top 6 topnotchers in the Nurse Board Exams held last June 2012.

This was disclosed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 23, 2012.

Gizelle Capati Cano earned a grade of 84.60%, with 7 other examinees, to rank 6th in the Nurse Licensure Examinations.
