MANILA, Philippines – Legendary Rock Band, Aerosmith, with lead vocalist, Steven Tyler, finally arrived in Manila this Sunday, May 5, for their May 8 Concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Aerosmith‘s concert will start 8 pm, and if Steven Tyler’s promise of “kicking some ass” is fulfilled, then it would be a blast for their Filipino fans.

Aside, from Steven Tyler, Aerosmith is composed of guitarists Brad Whitford and Joe Perry, drummer Joey Kramer, bassist Tom Hamilton. It is the first time the legendary band came to Manila for a concert. The band popularized the songs, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” and ‘Dream On.”

Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez had acted as judge in the past season of American Idol. It was during Steven’s time that Pinoy-Mexican Jessica Sanchez became runner-up in the reality singing competition.

Reportedly, iconic band Journey’s lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda – who happens to be a Filipino – had confirmed he would be watching Aerosmith in concert, and had said it would be an honor to jam with the legendary rock singer, Steven Tyler.
