MANILA, Philippines – Actor Gabriel Macht aka Harvey Specter of the hit TV series “Suits” visited Ormoc City on March 8, 2014 to help Haiyan (Yolanda) survivors. This is in conjunction with Project Wonderful of Globe Telecom and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

“Suits” has gained considerable following in the Philippines because of its fast paced ‘courtroom’ drama and unexpected twists. Would Mike Ross’ lie be finally discovered by Louis Litt? Harvey Specter’s decision to finally commit himself emotionally to Abigail Spencer may not what it seems to be. His continuing struggle for power against his partner Jessica Pearson. What about Rachel Zane would she remain happy with Mike?
Gabriel Macht appeared genuinely glad spending time with the Ormoc children as seen in the pictures he posted on Twitter. His latest tweet expressed how he treasured the experience:
Gabriel Macht @GabrielMacht 15h
“Grateful to have had this moment #projectwonderful #ormoc #kids #maganda”
Gabriel Macht is one of the many celebrities who had extended their helping hand to the rehabilitation of the Haiyan survivors. Famous author Mitch Album and Pop Star Justin Bieber have also been to Tacloban to support rehabilitation efforts. Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has been busy doing his charity projects, as well.
The whole world has come to the rescue like these volunteers from Bangkok. Hopefully, the Philippine government would do its own responsibility in the country’s rehabilitation program.
Fans flooded Gabriel Macht Twitter account to express their gratitude. Thank you Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter) for the support you have extended to the Typhoon Haiyan survivors.
