Nicki Minaj on Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I’m Not Really a Psycho”

Nicki Minaj guested on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last January 15, and people got to know her good side. The audience laughed at her honest and spontaneous replies.

She revealed that during the auditions, she did not want to take a break.

“I don’t want to take a break, like pee breaks, and e breaks. I don’t want to take a break.”

She added that when she does she might not return to the show afterwards.

Ellen DeGeneres asked her point blank about the bickering that happened between her and Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj was at first reluctant to speak, but Ellen said they have a footage of the incident, if she wanted to be reminded.

Nicki laughed and disclosed that:

“I don’t know. I guess we’re all Divas.”

“I was just sitting there, and I heard stuff that ‘Mariah doesn’t want you in the panel,’ and I didn’t believe it…”

Nicki added that some concerned people told her not to believe everything that she reads.  She went on to explain that it just happened.  that she looks up to Mariah Carey, and that she and her mother even sang her songs all day long.

When asked about the American Idol Live Show, which will start airing on January 16, 2013, Nicki Minaj said that she does not look forward to it because:

“I don’t trust myself,” adding, “I am not really a crazy psycho you guys. No, I am serious. I am really not.”

Ellen DeGeneres gave her a twin BFF necklace, the other one, to be given to Mariah. The necklaces are two pieces of one heart.

Nicki asked Ellen: “Will she wear it?”

Ellen DeGeneres replied that Nicki has to ask Mariah to wear it, and that she may want to ask her during the live show.

Will Mariah, indeed, wear it? Judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will have to support Nicki Minaj on her quest of friendship with Mariah Carey. Check back for updates on the American Idol Live Show on January 16.
