MMFF 2015 Winners: Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza Wins Best Supporting Actress in MMFF; My Bebe Love is 3rd Best Picture

Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza has won the Best Supporting Actress Award during the MMFF 2015, while “My Bebe Love” has won 3rd Best Picture. The film also won the Gatpuno J. Villegas Cultural Award.

The outstanding accomplishment of the film is to break the record of all Filipino films on opening day at the tills. My Bebe Love grossed around 60.5 million
nationwide.

It proved to ALDUB’s critics that the love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza is here to stay. The other winners in the MMFF 2015 are:

Best Director – Eric Matti for ‘Walang Forever’
Best Supporting Actor – Tirso Cruz III for ‘Honor Thy Father’

Best Original Story – ‘Walang Forever’

Alden Richards was nominated as Best Supporting Actor, as well but Tirso Cruz III won the award.

Maine Mendoza is obviously on cloud nine for having won an award on her very first film.
