Fil-Am Malaya Watson Eliminated from American Idol Top 8 Contestants

Fil-Am Malaya Watson was eliminated from the American Idol Top 8 Contestants last Thursday, April 10, 2014. Malaya has been considered a strong contender for the title, but apparently, her fans have not voted enough for her.

The remaining 2014 American Idol Top 7 contestants are:

  1. Sam Woolf
  2. Caleb Johnson
  3. Alex Preston
  4. Dexter Roberts
  5. Jessica Meuse
  6. C.J. Harris
  7. Jena Irene

The Bottom 2 American Idol contestants were

  • CJ Harris
  • Malaya Watson

Last week, guitar-slinging Sam Woolf was nearly voted off; if not for the judges’ save.

Rocker Caleb Johnson has been leading the votes in the past American Idol Results. Wild card contestant, Jena Irene, is doing well apparently because she still remained with the Top 7 American Idol contestants.
