Awesome Achievements of BTS’ J-Hope’s “On the Street” ft. J. Cole

BTS’ J-Hope’s solo single “On the Street” in collaboration with J. Cole was released on March 3 and became an instant hit in more than 81 regions.

J. Cole’s music was one of the inspirations of the young Jung Hoseok (J-Hope) to write his own music, rap, and become a part of BTS – undoubtedly – now the biggest boy band in the world.

On the Street topped the iTunes chart around the world, including the United States, Denmark, Italy, and Canada.

“On the Street” debuted at #16 on Spotify’s Daily Global Chart with more than 3 million streams.

J-Hope’s TikTok videos featuring fellow band members, Jimin and Suga, Tomorrow by Together, and members of New Jeans are making the rounds on social media as the hip-hop song became even more popular online.

2. J-Hope’s On the Street with J. Cole debuted also at #24 on UK’s Hip Hop and R&B Singles Chart. J-Hope is the first and only Korean act to do so.

3. J-Hope’s On the Street, also topped the Spotify Charts in the song’s debut.

4. J-Hope’s On the Street with J. Cole was also ranked #1 in the 4/5 US Amazon Digital Song Charts Best Seller, New Releases, International Best Seller, and International New Release categories. It was ranked #1 for 5 consecutive days to date.

5. On the Street debuted at #25 in the first week of its release on the Spotify Global Chart with more than 17 million filtered streams. #6 on Spotify Korea; #67 on Spotify U.S.; #168 on Spotify UK; and #124 on Spotify Japan.

6. Because of On the Street’s great performance, the song has been added to Spotify’s “It’s A Hit” and “Just Hits” playlists.

7. J-Hope and J. Cole’s song remained at #1 for the third day to date on iTunes Mexico.

8. On YouTube, J-Hope’s On the Street debuted at #1 in South Korea; #17 on YouTube’s Worldwide Top Songs, and #6 on Top Music Videos with 18.2 million views.

9. As of March 14 KST, On the Street garnered 21,089,734 views, trending still at the Top 10 on YouTube for the Music Category.

10. J-Hope with J. Cole song has sold over 100,000 units already, making it the fastest K-pop song to sell more than 100,000 copies in the United States.
