Phillip Phillips said his favorite performance of the season is “That’s All” with his brother-in-law. Jessica Sanchez’s favorite performance of the season, on the other hand, is “Stuttering.” This was revealed in an interview by American Idol at its website in preparation for the American Grand Finale this May 22, 2012.

Phillip said it was his favorite performance because he had performed the song with his brother-in-law, who had introduced him to music and taught him a lot about music, and how to be a good musician. He also revealed that his brother-in-law inspires him to keep going as a musician.

Jessica said that she chose “Stuttering” because she is an avid fan of the original singer of the song, Jazmine Sullivan. She said she loves the artist.

Perhaps, we can derive a hint for one of the songs in their American Idol Grand Finale performance?

Phillip’s favorite collaboration is when the group performed with Queen, while Jessica’s, is her duet with Joshua Ledet, “I Knew You Were Waiting.”
