“The Bourne Legacy” To Premiere First in the Philippines on August 5 before Asian Showing

The Bourne Legacy” will premiere first in the Philippines on August 5, 2012 before its Asian and American showing. This was disclosed by Philippine local TV last July 18, 2012.

The Bourne Legacy” a part of the “Bourne Identity” series, which has revolved around the story of Jason Bourne a character created by famous author Robert Ludlum.

In   “The Bourne Legacy,” the plot diverts from Jason Bourne and focuses on agent Aaron Cross/Kenneth Gibson portrayed by Jeremy Renner, the new star of the show.

Rachel Weisz also plays a significant role, that of Dr. Stephanie Snyder.

It also features Edward Norton, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, and Filipino actors; Lou Veloso, John Arcilla, Lilia Cuntapay, Madeleine Nicolas, and Ermie Concepcion.

The action thriller was partly filmed in some fascinating parts of the Philippines, like Palawan, the Underground River in Puerto Princesa, and in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines.

Reportedly, “The Bourne Legacy”   would open in American theaters on August 10, 2012.
